Travis Browne has insisted he does not know if Ronda Rousey plans to retire from the UFC as he prepares for his next fight against Derrick Lewis.

The UFC fighter is the boyfriend of Rousey who lasted just 48 seconds against Amanda Nunes on her return from a long hiatus from the UFC in December.
Rumours have been circulating that Rousey now plans to retire, but Browne refused to be drawn into a discussion about his partner’s future in the sport.
‘She’s doing great and she’s in a good place,’ Browne told ESPN.

‘For me, I have a fight on February 19 and that’s all that matters.
‘I don’t know [about what she plans to do]. Her and I haven’t really had that talk.
‘That’s going to be her decision she has got to make.

‘Honestly, I don’t know. When the time comes, she’s going to do it her way.
‘That’s what people that support her I think will appreciate.
‘She’ll do it like she did everything else: Her way.’
Rousey released a statement after the fight saying she would be taking time to think about her next move.
Browne will fight in Halifax in February as he looks to end a two-fight losing streak and be the first heavyweight to beat Lewis in five bouts.
